Dr. Mehar Un Nissa is R&D Manager at Beez Biotech, working on a European Horizon-funded project focused on uncovering the fundamental mechanisms of sperm cell migration, using innovative biomimetic approaches. As a recipient of the MSCA-PF-2023 fellowship, her current position is firmly supported within this grant framework.
She earned her Ph.D. in Biosciences (Proteomics) from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. Before joining Beez, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle where she employed targeted mass spectrometry-based proteomics to study low-abundant transcription factors linked to Mixed Lineage Leukemia. Her expertise encompasses proteomics, mass spectrometry, biotechnology, and zoology, with extensive experience in LC-MS/MS techniques such as Orbitrap and Triple Quadrupole mass spectrometry.
Mehar is passionate about Beez Biotech's mission to enhance fertility treatments by developing innovative solutions to tackle the complexities of infertility and improve reproductive outcomes.
