Dr. Shiva K Shukla

Dr. Shukla is the CEO and founder of the Béez. Dr. Shukla received his Ph.D. in acoustic engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. He was also associated with “Team Lumber” (a collaboration between IDEA2 Madrid-MIT (Cambridge, USA)). “Team Lumber” aimed to develop an ultrasound-based non-invasive device for meningitis detection in infants. After, he received a prestigious Wadhwani Postdoctoral fellowship from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where Dr. Shukla employed microfluidics and image-processing techniques for semen analysis. He is also the recipient of the famous H2020 MSCA-IF fellowship (MicroFSMA 842299). He led the research for the MicroFSMA development and further created the Béez for the commercial translation of the developed technology. 

Dr. Shukla’s research interest is to facilitate lab-ready solutions to human reproduction clinics in order to encounter the frustration associated with ARTs.
