R&D Internship (2023)

  Béez Biotech is an innovative enterprise in the domain of Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAR ). We aim to facilitate innovative solutions to upsurge the success rate of MAR practices. Conclusively, we have developed innovative medical disposables to separate high-quality sperm cells. The European Commission funded the proof-of-concept (PoC) development through project MicroFSMA MSCA-IF (842299), and the  Brittany Region and La French Tech Lepoool are supporting the biological validation. What do we expect?

• Pursuing a Master's course in Computer Science/ Computational biology/ Bioinformatics/Data Science/ Artificial intelligence
• High proficiency in English writing skills (C1 or up level)
• Enthusiastic about research and innovation
• Comprise the knowledge of computer vision, image processing/signal processing."

What do we offer?

• Full-time internship (35h/week)
• 6-month internship (4.05€ / hour;  ~625€/monthly)
• Full travel allowance ( STAR monthly abonnement)
• Experimentation experience with the IVF, MAR  clinicians
• Tutorials in sperm cell biology and in microfluidics
• Possibility of  integration in BB Team (post internship)

What are the tasks?

• Editing existing code and  computational framework development for semen analysis
• Building a black box model to  analyze the dynamic properties of motile sperm cells 
• User-Interface (UI) development  for semen sample screening 
• Executing established biological protocols and image data collection
