Internship R&D (2024)

Béez Biotech is an innovative enterprise in the domain of Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAR ). We aim to facilitate innovative solutions to upsurge the success rate of MAR practices. Conclusively, we have developed innovative medical disposables to separate high-quality sperm cells. The European Commission funded the proof-of-concept (PoC) development through project MicroFSMA MSCA-IF (842299), and the  Brittany Region and La French Tech Lepoool are supporting the biological validation. What do we expect?

• Pursuing a Master's course in Computer Science/AI/Bioinformatics
• Good knowledge of Python programming with comoputer vision and AI packages like OpenCV, Scikit,  YOLO, and Pytoch.
• High proficiency in English writing skills (C1 or up a level)
• Enthusiastic about research and innovation

What do we offer?

• Full-time internship (35 hours/week)
• 6-month internship (4.05€ / hour;  ~600€/monthly)
• Full travel allowance ( STAR monthly abonnement)
• Experimentation experience with the IVF, MAR  clinicians
• Tutorial and knowledge transfer for microfluidics, and image/signal processing
• Possibility of integration in BB R&D team as LES CIFRE scholar.

What are the tasks?

• Computational framework development for semen analysis 
• Executing developed biological protocol with our clinical collaborators
• Analysis of the image data and reporting  
•  Maintenance of the developed sperm sorting technology
